Okay so after seeing a friend of mine record herself painting and drawing different things, I got a bit inspired and decided I wanted to try this out for myself. It took me about 4 hours to find a set up that worked and I decided to try it out some. I realized I love watching myself paint. Even if I hate the end result, I love just watching something turn from nothing into something. This was the first painting that I recorded on it, and yes it’s small and not very good, I just wanted to try it out and do something small. Plus I didn’t have a lot of storage on my camera to fit hours and hours of painting into. This took about 40 minutes, and I still had to stop midway in painting and delete some stuff off my camera being I wouldn’t have enough storage.

One of my favorite artists by far and inspiration is Claude Monet, I love how he is able to paint landscapes and nature in such a unique style. I feel like when I paint I don’t really have a personal identity it’s more that I just paint what I see, which I want to learn to create my own personal style and identity with my art. I’m hoping that as I study his works of art I’ll be able to use his style to venture off into my own.
